The Trustees of the Funds & Plans of Sheet Metal Workers' Local Union No. 28 are happy to announce that they will be offering free flu shots to ALL members and members spouses at the Union meeting on Long Island, at the American Legion 144, 730 Willis Ave., Williston Pk., on Monday October 6, 2008 and again at the Union meeting in Manhattan at the St. Cyril / St. Rafael Church, 502 West 41st Street and 10th Avenue on Tuesday, October 21, 2008.

Journeyperson Upgrade Course
Once again Local 28 will be offering evening training courses at the Apprentice School. We encourage you to take advantage of this training opportunity to improve your skills, particularly if you have been unemployed and fell that your skills may be rusty. If you are interested in taking a course, please : complete the enclosed form and return to 139-20 Jamaica Avenue, Jamaica, NY 11435.
