Dear Brothers & Sisters:

There have been numerous changes to the Annuity plan in recent months.  Additionally, we are currently considering adding a life insurance investment option to the plan.

The Trustees believe it is the utmost importance to provide educational seminars to the membership regarding these changes as well as your Annuity investment options in general.  Therefore, the Trustees in conjunction with New York Life Benefit Services will be holding four educational seminars on the following dates, May 14, 2008, June 11, 2008, July 2, 2008 and September 10, 2008.

The seminars will be held at Maestro's Caterers in the Bronx.  Maestro's is located approximately 5 minutes from the Throgs Neck Bridge and the Whitestone Bridge and approximately fifteen minutes from the George Washington Bridge.  The meetings will be from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and dinner will be provided.

In order to ensure your attendance, once you have completed the form, please send the form and a check made payable to Sheet Metal Workers' Local Union No. 28 Annuity Fund in the amount of $40 per person attending to the Funds office in the self addressed stamped envelope.  Once you have completed your attendance to the seminar, the money will be refunded to you.  Anyone who signs up and sends a check and doesn't attend will not be refunded.

We must have your response no late than April 30th for the May 14th meeting,  May 22nd for the June 11th meeting, June 11th for the July 2nd meeting, and August 13th for the September 10th meeting.  Meeting assignments will be issued on a first come, first serve basis with a check included.  If for some reason, you cannot attend and have sent a check, your money will be refunded as long as we receive notice from you five (5) days prior to the meeting.  We cannot accept phone reservations, but we can accept emergency cancellations up to five (5) days prior to the meeting.  The Trustees cannot overly state the importance of attending these meetings.
